Imagination and Aspiration:

Aspiration begins in the heart, in the quiet moment that brings something from you — an image, a question, a hope. Imagination gives it form. Together, they shape futures worth reaching for. Quaternity carries this spirit as a form of engagement: a way of thinking, playing, and learning that invites us to see the world — and one another — anew.

Across the globe, the Quaternity Project initiates and coordinates distinct programs that reflect local character while staying rooted in shared ideals. Whether directly through play or as a source of inspiration, the mindsport of Quaternity informs each initiative - uniting them in a common vision: thoughtful community, fair play, and the power of strategic imagination in a 21st Century world.

Art Beyond Earth:

In 2024, Quaternity became part of a landmark NASA–commercial mission to the Moon, joining a curated collection of cultural works aboard the IM-2 lunar lander. Among contributions from artists including Picasso, Michelangelo, Jeff Koons, and others, a uniquely crafted digital artwork representing Quaternity was selected — placing the project within a gallery devoted to the forward movement of human culture.

The Lunar Museum:

This lunar museum reflects a belief that creativity, thought, and cultural meaning belong at the frontier of human endeavor. For us, the Moon offered a new kind of canvas — a place not only to mark where we’ve been, but to imagine where we could go. Including Quaternity in this interplanetary archive was a gesture of aspiration: a way of saying that games, ideas, and shared experiences matter in shaping the future.

Quaternity Artwork on the Moon:

The artwork, created by Nick Roth, is a bold abstraction of the Quaternity board — a 12x12 grid alive with geometric energy and vibrant transitions. Colors suggest alliance and opposition, while shifting patterns hint at the evolving rhythm of play. It is both a visual statement and a symbolic one: strategy as movement, as dialogue, as vision.

To send this piece to the Moon was to extend the project’s imagination beyond the Earth — a step in a longer journey. It reflects the core spirit of Quaternity: that play can be profound, that thinking together is a form of hope, and that culture is not what we leave behind — it’s what we carry forward.
